A new initiative designed to elevate reward management in today’s complex talent landscape.
What we do
The Reward Academy is a member subscription service that provides:
- in-the-moment coaching, surgeries and advice about all aspects of reward and related fields,
- access when needed to our people all of whom are subject matter advisors in their respective field.
Our people are able to apply their experience, insights and wisdom to members’ challenges having “been there, done it” in senior corporate and consulting roles. We bring depth and breadth, not just in reward alone, but also in the inter-dependent fields of board engagement, leadership, talent management, inclusion, employee relations, change management and human resource technologies.
The Reward Academy is not a consulting firm.
We strengthen our members’ confidence, courage and clarity.
We enable our members to get the right things done.
WHY ARE WE HERE?
Every executive has those moments when they need to:
- talk through a knotty problem,
- step out of the hurly-burly,
- find a safe place to think.
These are precious moments to diagnose issues and frame ways forward: moments when access to experience, insights, wisdom and critical friendship really matter.
These are not moments for solutions looking for problems.
The Reward Academy is here for precious moments that catalyse the confidence, courage and clarity to get the right things done.

Our people
We are able to apply our experience, insights and wisdom to members’ challenges having “been there, done it” in senior corporate and consulting roles. We bring depth and breadth, not just in reward alone, but also in the inter-dependent fields.
To meet our team, drag them left or right, then click on a team member to read their experience.
We have a point-of-view
The Reward Academy and our people believe that reward at its best:
- Enables organisation and individual performance, and employee engagement
- Aligns and is inter-dependent with board engagement, leadership, talent management, employee relations, change and stakeholder management, and human resource technologies.
- Reinforces how organisations and individuals are inspired and managed, and delivers sustained success for the organisation and individual
- Is situational: what works for a global employer many not be best for a mid-size company or public organisation, what works for a mature employer may not work for a start-up or turn-around.
We know that rewarding talent is a big investment. Our mission is to empower organisations to maximise the impact and return of their reward investment.
We know that great reward professionals combine technical and analytical know-how with social empathy and business acumen, and can leverage technologies and data.
We know that great reward professionals gain from and contribute to communities of professional interest.
